The overhead lockout position is used in many of our kettlebell drills, such as the snatch, overhead press, overhead lunge, overhead squat, and windmill. Some of the key checkpoints to remember when in this position include:
- Elbow fully locked
- Shoulder firmly in the socket
- Arm should be behind the ear
- Head pointing straight, keeping the neck in the neutral position
SHOW OFF…. JEEEEZZZZ. YOU MAKE THE REST OF US LOOK BAD. LOL. AT LEAST I GET TO SEE THE MOUNTIANS… I SAW A COUPLE GUYS PLAYING TENNIS AND I THOUGHT OF YOU.
